NORRELL CORPORATION ACQUIRES CARSON ASSOCIATES,
Atlanta, July 14, 1998 – Norrell Corporation (NYSE: NRL) today announced that it has acquired W. E. Carson Associates, Inc., a privately held information systems consulting firm based in Atlanta, Georgia. Carson provides information technology (IT) consulting services including systems analysis, programming, testing and technical writing. Carson Associates had 1997 revenue of $14 million. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Doug Miller, Norrell chairman and chief executive officer, said, “Carson Associates strengthens our Norrell Information Services (NIS) presence in the high-growth Atlanta market. In addition to their large database of consultants, they also bring a roster of blue-chip clients. Amy Vasquez, president of Carson Associates, has been named to the additional position of vice president and general manager, Atlanta region, reporting to Stanley E.
